Black Ops 6 Season 3 Delay – What Should Treyarch Do to Make Up for It?
Treyarch just announced that Black Ops 6 Season 3 is delayed until April 3, which means COD BO6 Gift CP we’re stuck with Season 2 for a little longer. While I understand that they want to deliver a polished experience, delays always come with frustration—especially when players are left wondering what to do in the meantime.
If Treyarch wants to keep players engaged, they should consider adding something extra to make up for the delay. Here are a few ideas:
Extend the Season 2 Battle Pass – If they expect players to keep grinding for another few weeks, adding bonus tiers or extending progression would be a good move.
Double XP Events – Extra XP for weapons, operators, and the Battle Pass would help keep players motivated.
Limited-Time Modes – Bringing back classic modes or experimenting with fun playlists could keep the game fresh while we wait.
Free Cosmetics or Bundles – Even something small like a weapon blueprint or operator skin would be a nice way to acknowledge the delay.
The worst-case scenario is that we just sit in a content drought with nothing new to do for weeks. That would kill momentum for BO6 and frustrate the player base even more.
